Fue mi mejor eleccion me orientaron de inicio a fin para organizar mi viaje a Peru, me recojieron en Cusco para Machupicchu, tambien hize valle sagrado, ruta del sol a Puno, el hotel excelente con vista al lago y el full day en barco veloz 100 puntos, me enviaron en ruta a Chivay para hacer el Cañon del Colca y finalmente en Arequipa hize Campiña. ISLAND OF THE UROS - TAQUILE FAST BOAT
It is one of the most impressive crossings in Lake Titicaca, where we can visit the floating islands of the Uros and the natural island of Taquile in a single day the service is improved, at the same time more comfortable, with a considerable navigation time, It makes us less tired, since our speed boat allows us to shorten the time of navigation between one island to another and gives us the facility to stay longer on each island "Uros" (floating islands built from totora) and "Taquile"(Recognized by its textile art world-wide by UNESCO) to be able to enjoy, know and appreciate better the attractions of each island, and in this way we also arrive early to the city of Puno, allowing us to carry out other activities or continue our trips to other destinations.
The tour begins with the transfer of the Hotel (downtown) or bus terminal to the Port of Puno to board the fast boat heading to the Uros and Taquile Floating Islands, as the first destination we will visit the Uros Islands, which is located 7 kilometers from the city Of Puno, with a duration of approximately 10 to 15 minutes by boat. We will visit 02 of more than 80 islands, where we will know its way of life, history, customs, clothing, main activities such as crafts, tourism and artisanal fishing. We will share new experiences with the families approximately one hour and thirty minutes, where the guide will explain in detail about the construction of floating islands, built and finished based on totora, then the native family will invite us to take an additional ride on their typical boats of totora, the route lasts approximately 20 min. (Optional), heading to the capital island where you will find restaurants, snack shops, trout hatcheries and a variety of local handicrafts.
Then we continue in less time to Taquile (Intika in Quechua), with an estimated time of 1 hour and 20 min. Approximately, when we arrive we will make a walk for 35 minutes. To get to the main square of the village where we will have contact with the locals, our guide will explain their history, typical clothing, hand knitting, handicrafts, main activities, traditions and customs. Next we will taste the delicious lunch offered by a local restaurant next to the main square overlooking the lake. Then we will have free time to visit the surroundings, to know its temples and traditional stone arches.
After our guide we will descend on one side of the island to the main port of Taquile where our speed boat awaits us to return to the city of Puno, we will arrive much more before than other normal boats, shortening the time of arrival and this will allow us to realize Multiple activities on arrival.
